Bournemouth Rainbow - Supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health

It is our aim to ensure that we are helping people to live happy and rewarding lives in their local community.

Our support staff provide a professional and empathetic service, with the backup of an efficient and knowledgeable office based team.

We are specialised in supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health.

A Learning Disability can be mild, moderate or severe. The level of support someone needs depends on the person themselves.

Someone with a mild Learning Disability may be able to communicate effectively and look after themselves but may need a bit longer than usual to learn and develop new skills.

Some people with a Learning Disability can live independently in the community where others may need support with their everyday living tasks such as budgeting, menu planning, and managing their correspondence.

People with more severe Learning Disabilities may need help with tasks such as washing, dressing, managing their medication and accessing day opportunities.

Our approach is person-centered. Considering the full range of options for care and support. This means we involve both the individuals we support and, where practical, their families and support networks in the planning and delivery of their care and support.

We get to know each of our clients in order to help them realise their hopes, ambitions and goals.

We can reflect these in their personalised care and support plans.

Our aim is to support the individual to realise their full potential in life and to achieve their goals.
